The child using these booster seats should also be less than 4’ 9’’.  Finally, once the child is taller than this and weighing more than 80 pounds and older than eight years of age, the standard safety belts that are built in the car can be used.

When finally purchasing your child’s booster seat, remember that there is no right and wrong answer as to which brand and which model is the best booster seat out there. Instead, try the seat with your child in it to check for comfort and the best fit.  If the child booster seat that you choose is in accordance with your child’s height, weight, and age, and as long as you have a working knowledge of the child booster seat laws, the seat will work perfectly well.
